Update on Ansleigh(since it has been awhile)

Ansleigh just turned 19 months old today omg where has the time gone??Monday Ansleigh started a new school its Creative Care and we absolutely love it! The director actually kept me as a child. We loved her other daycare as well but I have moved branches this one was closer and also just a better fit for Ansleigh. It is a more structured environment and she gets to play outside a lot, color, read stories, and play with other kids her age. I love that I get a daily report on what she does everyday it makes me feel like i don't miss out on as much! Ansleigh is into everything and her favorite word right now is no! She is talking all the time and running around and just becoming such a person its awesome to watch. She loves to be outside and gets mad when she has to come inside. She is getting quite the vocabulary its so cute watching her try to say everything we say! I have started a new job as well still with SunTrust but at our music industry office as an FSR. I love it the people i work with are great and we have awesome clients as well. Still have lots to learn as i have just been here for a little over 2 months but it is getting easier everyday.Well i promise to start blogging more often as I am addicted to several other blogs it makes me want to get better at updating myself because time goes by so fast in Ansleighs little life and I don't want to forget these super fun times! Thanksgiving and Christmas

So I have been a very bad blogger lately with all the holiday madness I ran out of time! Ansleigh and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas this year. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful family and such great friends! On thanksgiving this year it was kinda of a crazy day filled with lots of driving. Ansleigh came with me to my dads house or "Bebe and Pops house" and we got to visit with everyone for about an hr before she had to go on to her dads it was sad I don't like to have to give up any of my time with her but especially on holidays! She looked so adorable in her turkey smoked dress and was in a great mood! She was a little overwhelmed with all the people and very clingy to her mommy but that's very normal! She loved Bebe's famous chicken and dumplings! I stayed at my dads for awhile and ate way to much food of course it is all so amazing! Then I went to my moms mom downtown! They had already eaten but we played family games which I love to do and I had to get home for work the next day! Ansleigh is becoming such a little talker she is always saying something and actually started to say phrases and words we can all understand! She loves my parents dog dede and will follow her all around the house saying "dee dog dee dog" its so cute! She always calls everyone mom its so funny she will be going in every room trying to find my dad and yelling out mom! She is starting to get a little sassy sometimes as well and I know this will just get worse over time! But for the most part she is a wonderful child and I really don't realize that until I am around other kids her age! Well back to Christmas! We were beyond spoiled over Christmas time! It all started on Christmas eve when we went to my grandmas house(ansleigh's great grandma). We always go over there on Christmas eve and celebrate with my moms side of the family! Ansleigh got lots of great things like a shopping cart w groceries from grandma which she loved, some new clothes, a purse w fake makeup and a phone from aunt Shelley,uncle Melvin, Jessica, Ryan, and Jillian she loves purses and cell phones right now so we can never have enough. Then we stayed at Mia's house(my mom) with Uncle A my little brother who she loves and he adores her just as much! We always stay at my moms on Christmas eve to wake up at her house do Santa and then head to my dads for more Santa presents! Christmas Morning Ansleigh was so excited when she saw all her Santa gifts she wanted them open immediately so she could test them all out it was so cute! She wasn't really interested in unwrapping the gifts from me or mom but once they were unwrapped she loved them! Once again she racked up on lots of new toys, new clothes, and new movies for her tv in the car which is a lifesaver for our long commute to work and school everyday! My favorite memory from Christmas morning at moms was she got a new baby doll that has a lil bottle you feed the baby with well mom was showing her what to do and everytime mom fed the baby she had to feed ansleigh with the fake bottle. Then mom says we have to burp the baby and showed ansleigh what to do and then ansleigh crawled up in moms lap and had to be burped as well it was to funny! Then we were off to bebe and pops for more presents! The highlight of ansleighs Christmas there were her new squeaky shoes from aunt Candace! They squeak when she walks and she loves them not to mention they are adorable! Check out there website www.squeakmeshoes.com ! She got spoiled even more from bebe and pops and Aunt Candace and Aunt Stacy and Don. Another favorite present was her new pjs and new slippers from bebe and pops they are adorable and super soft! Well all this present opening wore her plum out she passed out for 4 and a half hrs we kept going to check on her and make sure she was still breathing it was crazy! When she woke up we headed to Uncle Wills and Aunt Babs house for Christmas dinner Ansleighs new shoes were a hit and great for watching her cuz we always knew where she was! Favorite memory from there house was I went to change her into her new pjs and new slippers and put her on the ground and she started walking stopped and sat down and was hitting her shoes as if they were broken because she was so used to her other new shoes squeaking it was so funny! Well as you can tell Ansleigh and I were very spoiled for Christmas as always! We have such an amazing family that I could not do without! There love and support is what gets us through the day! Ansleigh is getting so big next week she will be 15 months! Where does the time go? Its so fun to watch her grow and her personality change and her learning so many new things she is an actual little person now and I am having so much fun! Ansleigh's First Birthday and Halloween

I'm back as promised! Well we had Ansleigh's first birthday party on Saturday Oct 10th at Bebe and Pops house. It was a great day everything went as planned she was in a great mood and she loved her cake! The theme of her party was pink and green with monkeys. My friend Lacey made her cakes and they were awesome tasted great and look great! All our family was there both my moms side and dad and then my best friends were also there! We made chicken tortilla soup and a few dips for everyone to snack on! Ansleigh loved her cake she smashed right into it and made everyone clap for her everytime she touched it! The favorite present was def the rocking chair my sister Candace painted ansleigh it is so adorable and Ansleigh loved it! She took quite a few steps for everyone to we were so excited cuz at this time she had not started walking yet! Thanks to everyone who came to her party and who has been a part of her first year it has been great and we couldnt have made it through without everyones help and support! Now on to halloween! This was Ansleigh's 2nd halloween but really her first because last year she was just two weeks old. This year she was a "girl monkey" we call her monkey or monkey butt so I thought this was the best idea for her costume. She did great and looked so adorable, she actually kept her costume on the whole time we were so excited! We went to downtown Franklin for pumpkin fest and then went to a few houses around downtown and let ansleigh do some trick or treating. She learned how to say trick or treat that night it was so cute! Her favorite part of the whole night was watching all the people she loves people watching! It was Ansleigh, me, Pops and Bebe who went out and about! I will post some pictures from her party and also from halloween! Well I think I have blogged enough today so I promise to try and update at least once a week and maybe more if we have an eventful week! Thanks for checking us out

Welcome To Toddler World's First Post

So I decided to join the bandwagon and start our own blog! We just entered the toddler world on Oct 13th when Ansleigh turned one! The meltdowns and sassy attitude have already started! I always knew I would get paid back for how I treated my mom when I was a teenager but had no idea it would be this early! But on a positive note Ansleigh is getting more and more fun everyday I love watching her learn new things and she is so smart! This weeks new thing is we say show us your teeth and she holds her head back and smiles its so funny! She is like a little sponge these days she trys to do everything we do its too funny! Well I will go ahead and forewarn everyone and say I am totally random so my posting will be all over the place so try and stay w me! Ansleigh is such a happy baby always smiling and laughing and such a great baby! I call her sas or sasser because she does already have an attitude and is very independent! She is finally walking and is going everywhere she started walking the week after her first birthday and its so funny to watch! It was like she just woke up one morning and decided she wanted to walk she had been so close for months but i never pushed her I knew she would walk when she was ready and well I guess she decided it was time! Her favorite thing to say right now is de dog which is referring to my parents dog dede! Its a day to day thing as to whether she is going to like dede or not but you would think by how much she says her name that they are best friends! She loves my dad who is "Pops" to her and we go to Bebe and Pops house almost every afternoon after work and school for dinner or just to hang out with them! They love her as much as she loves them! She is a very good eater this days and will pretty much try anything and if she doesn't want it she makes it very clear she does the head shake! She did the transition to regular milk and a sippy cup very well she had no problems at all we are so lucky! She also loves to dance anytime there is music on or you just sing to her! Her favorite TV show is mickey mouse clubhouse and my parents are lifesavers for getting her a TV for my car it makes our car rides so much more enjoyable!
