Fun Times with grandma

Last friday Ansleigh and my brother who she calls RewRew went to the puppet show downtown at the library with my grandma and then went to bicentennial mall to play in the fountains! they had a great time and here are two pictures my grandma sent me! I was so proud of her for taking good pictures and txting them to me! She is 77 thats pretty awesome! So glad Ansleigh gets to spend so much time with her great grandma she was a huge part of my childhood and I am so glad she is the same for Ansleigh!

Trip to Cookeville

A couple weekends ago we went to Cookeville to see my friend Erin and her son Jackson. When we got to town Jackson was still napping so we stopped for ice cream at a place an old friend owns and then headed to campus where I went to college! This was so fun to show Ansleigh where I went to college at Tennessee Tech. She has now been to all my schools and she asked some pretty funny questions like where is the playground mommy? lol It was a beautiful day and we had lots of fun!

Sneak Peek of our Family Pictures

Last saturday Ansleigh and I got our pictures taken by Jennifer Fite she is a friend of one of my friends! We loved her and cant wait to see the rest of the pictures! It was a hot day but Marathon Village was a neat place and she really captured my sweet little sassy Diva!

Miles for Hope and Weekend

Saturday I ran in another 5k for work it was benefiting brain cancer and again it was pouring rain! I beat my time from Thursday by almost 3 mins I was very excited! It was a great turnout and our bank raised over 11,500 for brain cancer research which is amazing! Way to go Life is Good! My mom braved the rain and came to support me and I was so greatful! Loving running and these races really are fun! Ansleigh came back from her dads after a week on saturday and I was so happy she was so glad to be back and it finally stopped raining so we rode bikes and played sidewalk chalk! Yesterday we went to Lebanon Ky for a family reunion she had a great time! So glad to have my girl back life is back to normal! Tonight we have swim lessons and tommorow is gymnastics yah!

Happy 4th of July-my First 5k!

Happy Birthday America! It sure didnt seem like the 4th of July here in Nashville we had RAIN, RAIN,and more RAIN!! I have been running for almost 2 months now and so my friend Jennifer and I signed up for the run for the party 4th of July race downtown yesterday am! I didnt sleep good the night before worried about it and getting there on time well I woke up and it was pouring down but we made the best of it and had a great time! I had so much fun and actually doing another race tommorow hoping to beat my time! We ran it in 33:41 not my fastest but pretty excited for my first race! we were 330 out of 890 people which is pretty cool!

My before pictures got deleted while I was running I was pretty sad about it but hey least I have the after to prove we did it! And these are the super cool t shirts and metals we got!!

Happy Fathers Day!

Yesterday we went to Mellow Mushroom (my dads favorite) for lunch to celebrate his fathers day! Ansleigh and I got him a photo book from shutterfly of the last year and he loved it! I also did a custom card from there since you cant ever find Pop Pop cards anywhere. Then we went to there house I ran and then went to get my Ansleigh back from her dads! My dad is seriously my rock and has done so much for me my whole life. He has always put me first and now does the same for Ansleigh. He is there when I need him and has always made sacrifces to make sure I didnt go without anything and to give me the best life I could have. I cant even put into words how much he means to me and I will forever be greatful for everything that he has done for me! He worked extra jobs all my life to send me to private school and I had a wonderful life. He is the best pop pop to Ansleigh and loves her more than anything. She loves him too and a lot of it is because he always sneaks her candy lol jk she would love you anyways! I hope you had a great day dad and I love you more than anything! Thank you for always being there for me and Ansleigh and for being my rock!

Ansleigh's new room and bathroom

We have lived in our new house for going on 2 years. I have never painted anything because most of the house was freshly painted before we moved in. Well finally I was ready to paint Ansleighs room and bathroom and they hadnt been done before. I had been eyeing this quilt from pottery barn kids for awhile and finally bit the bullet and got it. It will last awhile because its not too little girl. I just love it two of my favorite colors. My friends dad painted her room and bathrom last week and I just love how it turned out! Still need a few touches on the walls with some pictures and things but I am not rushing that want to make sure its perfect! I love how its coming along! For her bathroom I got some ideas off pinterest for printables and just made my own I think they are super cute and a nice touch to her bathroom! She loves it and keeps thanking me over and over!
